“Metropolis”-Inspired Fashion Editorial
I love the 1928 silent science fiction/German Expressionist film Metropolis. Check out this Metropolis-themed shoot from Vogue Germany that was posted over on Haute Macabre:

“Metropolis” is a great film for both its amazing imagery and its role in cinematic history. It was the most expensive film of its day and took two years to create. One obvious but little-known fact is that the robot in the film inspired the look for C-3PO in “Star Wars” (made 50 years later).
Thank you, dear!
